The latest episode of NPR's excellent Planet Money podcast is about the economics of How to Stop an Asteroid.They interview B16 Foundation's Ed Lu among others. It is not a long listen, but an interesting one, and it explains the asteroid threat and some of the issues about detecting and removing, about which I rambled recently.
